in the morning the mrt is so crowded with students
why not we give a semi express bus service from the various interchange
the time 6 20am.and 6 30 am
example cck station.
here we go to cck sec . fajar sec bt panjang then along bt panjang to senja there are some school then green ridge
the bus will stop where there are schools with walking distance

this bus on the way back it could change to normal express to bus station.this will be so helpful for people taking a train at cck mrt.

Well.. this seems to be a known problem. Not only for students but also for beginning and ending of working hours, trains and buses also seems to be packed. Anyway as per the initial post, perhaps we can focus on solving these problems by steps.

Think the above idea may be attainable. For example International Business Park in Jurong have their own 'shuttle bus' which collects 20cents per ride irregardless of where you alight or board. Using this same 'fee system' and tapping our neighbourhood estate design, i thought of the following...

Student 'express shuttles' collects a smaller than usual fee (for this example.. 20cents) and starts the trip from Bus Interchange/ MRT stations. Stops only at respective school bus stops, and MRT/Bus stations and functions at school start/end times only. This wld shorten bus trips, reduce overflowing commuters on public buses, and benefits students with lower tspt fees.

Providers (SBS, SMRT/TIBS, etc...) can liase with schools within the service routes to set up the operating hours of the bus trips to cater for peak periods. Considering most neighbourhood schs are located side by side, and in areas like bt Timah where several JCs/Schs run along the same stretch of road, such a service may be 'profitable' to operators and still solve the known current 'problem'.

Hope the above suggestion helps..
